As Groupon’s landscape began to change in the pursuit of a more holistic, locally-driven marketplace, the visuals from the design team (as well as the brand itself) needed to evolve. Pairing closely with Brand, Marketing, my Creative Director, the input from my creative peers, as well as multiple Stakeholders (holding ownership over various markets such as Health & Beauty, Travel, Goods, Live Events, and National Brands), I worked to develop a structured system that is both on-brand and easy to reference when completing day-to-day tasks. This included the development of the guidelines you see here as well as 30+ templates to be used for daily asset development and delivery across all media platforms, globally.
